Barcelona were forced to delay their return home and spend the night in Seville after Saturday’s 5-2 win over Real Betis in La Liga.
The squad were due to fly home after the match but bad weather saw their flight cancelled and meant they stayed overnight in the city.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the players actually made it to the plane and waited for three hours before being told to return to their hotel.
The plan is now for Barcelona to fly back on Sunday which will affect the team’s plans for the forthcoming week which contains key fixtures against PSG and Real Madrid.
Barca had been due to train on Sunday morning but will now miss that session as they will be travelling back home instead.
Hansi Flick’s side also need to check on the fitness of Eric Garcia, Gerard Martin and Jules Kounde after all three picked up knocks against Betis.
Barcelona travel to PSG for a Champions League clash on Tuesday night and then host Real Madrid on Sunday.
