No one celebrates National Day of Spain like the Spanish royal family. Today, October 12, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, and the couple’s two daughters came together to preside over the official holiday reception at the Royal Palace in Madrid. And for the occasion, Crown Princess Leonor pulled out her military dress uniform.

The light blue Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Charles III sash (Spain’s highest civilian award) was draped across the future queen’s chest, while the Grand Crosses of Military Merit, Naval Merit, and Aeronautical Merit, and the Order of the Golden Fleece insignia were pinned to her uniform. (The heir to the throne notably completed a rigorous three-year military training program across the Spanish Army, Navy, and Air and Space Force from 2023 to July 2026.)
