Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr Amthal Al-Huwailah has issued decisions to dissolve six public benefit associations in Kuwait, while extending the mandate of the interim board of directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society for a renewable period of one year.
The dissolved associations are the Kuwaiti Entrepreneurs Association, Amana Social Welfare Association, Kuwaiti Information Security Association, Kuwaiti Association for Architectural Heritage, Kuwaiti Association for Medical Imaging, and Kuwaiti Association for Monitoring and Evaluating Parliamentary Performance.
Under the dissolution decisions, the associations’ boards of directors and employees are prohibited from disposing of their funds or documents.
