ZER01NE, Hyundai Motor Group's platform for nurturing creative talent, said on the 14th that it will hold the 2026 ZER01NE Demo Day from Oct. 12 to 16 at the Yangjae headquarters of Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) and Kia (000270.KS).
ZER01NE is a creative space and talent platform that Hyundai Motor Group established in 2018 on Gangnam-daero in Seoul's Seocho district, with the aim of building a collaborative ecosystem for creative talent.
At ZER01NE Demo Day, talent from a range of fields — artists and developers as well as startups — present their projects and business models, and anyone can take part and try them firsthand. This year's event will be held in the lobby of the Hyundai Motor and Kia Yangjae headquarters, which was renovated in March around the values of connection and collaboration. The company said the venue will help strengthen the group's culture of creative innovation and broaden communication among employees.
The theme of this year's exhibition is "01 EMERGE." It is meant to convey how the possibility of new innovation emerges when ideas from different participants — ZER01NE creators, employees and startups — come together. Under that theme, ZER01NE will showcase a range of projects in fields including artificial intelligence, robotics and mobility.
A total of 11 projects are being unveiled at this year's Demo Day. They include three projects from ZER01NE Lab, a collaboration between creators and employees of Hyundai Motor and Kia; one project from ZER01NE Ignite, a developer community initiative involving participants inside and outside the company; and seven exhibits from innovative technology startups nurtured by ZER01NE.
Other programs include a showcase of innovative technologies from Hyundai CRADLE, the group's global open innovation hub, presentations on standout startup cases, and creator talks in artificial intelligence and robotics.
"ZER01NE Demo Day is a meaningful event where you can encounter ZER01NE's creative projects in an open space for communication, collaboration and new connections among employees," a ZER01NE official said. "We hope it becomes an occasion to share insights into Hyundai Motor Group's future businesses and technological change, and to discover new possibilities for collaboration."
