Pakistani actors Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani have embraced a new chapter in their lives as they announce the birth of their baby boy, naming him Syed Azmar Hussain Kamal Gilani.
The couple shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, introducing their newborn as their “littlest most precious treasure” and revealing that they had named him Azmar, which means “lion”. “The king of our jungle, our pride,” the proud parents wrote in their announcement, offering fans a glimpse into their happiness as they welcomed their first child.
The announcement was accompanied by a touching video showing Ameer Gilani reciting the Azaan into his newborn son’s ears, marking the baby’s arrival with a cherished Islamic tradition.
The couple had kept the pregnancy private, although fans had speculated about the news after noticing what they believed to be a baby bump during Mawra’s television appearances.
Mawra and Ameer, who have shared the screen in several popular dramas, tied the knot in February 2025 after years of speculation about their relationship.
Their on-screen chemistry in Sabaat and Neem had drawn considerable attention, with viewers often wondering whether their connection extended beyond their professional lives.
