Riley Gaines dropped a brutal response to the WNBA not allowing Enes Kanter to play in the league.
It’s official, former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom won’t feature in the 2027 WNBA Draft, as the league has rejected his request.
Why? Well, it’s because Kanter is a biological male, and the WNBA obviously can’t have him compete in the league.
While it should have made life easier for the league, it has seemingly had the opposite impact, with the W being called out over suddenly knowing the difference between a male and a female.
Riley Gaines hammers the WNBA for rejecting Enes Kanter’s 2027 draft submission
Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines is among many who called out the WNBA for finally learning the difference between a man and a woman.
“The WNBA defines Enes as a man, but still fails to define ‘woman’. They just know that Enes isn’t one. But how do they know that since he said he was one?” Gaines asked on X.
She added, “Is it because he’s 6’10”? Is it because he has a beard? Is it because he can dunk? Is it because they’re transphobic?”
Nearly a month ago, the WNBA was unsure what a woman was during the transgender athletes in the league debate.
Gaines’ anger stems from the fact that the league still hasn’t clearly defined that, but they have quickly figured out what a man is, to declare Enes Kanter and Royce White ineligible to play in the league.
All eyes are once again on Cathy Engelbert, who continues to stir up controversy during the twilight phase of her term as the WNBA Commissioner.
