With the Seahawks and Jaxon Smith-Njigba coming to town on Thursday, there’s a glimmer of hope in Broncos Country that we may get one of our starting cornerbacks back.
While I’ve been very impressed by the work that Jahdae Barron and Kris Abrams-Draine have done with both Riley Moss and Patrick Surtain out, I am not too keen to see either of them singled up on one of the NFL’s best weapons in JSN.
Even with a healthy Riley Moss, I think JSN is going to get his. But from what we’ve seen so far this season, JSN is the Seahawks’ offense. I’d think you put your best corner on him and dedicate a safety over the top all game long. Make anyone else on that Seahawks offense beat you. And if Moss is healthy, I like his chances to snag an interception off Darnold.
