The Miami Heat are not off to a great start this season, as they have lost their first two games. Of course, it was a tough matchup in both instances, as they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons.
Those are understandable teams to lose to, but the Heat's performances have not been encouraging. Bam Adebayo, in particular, has taken a lot of the flak because of his underwhelming performances.
Bam Adebayo acknowledges he is struggling with his performances
As the co-star to Giannis Antetokounmpo, Adebayo must meet a high standard. The Heat are supposed to be fighting at the top of the Eastern Conference, and not down in the bottom.
This is a bad stretch to start for Adebayo, as he is averaging 9.5 points across the first two games on 44.4% shooting from the field. That is not enough, especially when Antetokounmpo is scoring well over 30 points across the two games.

Thankfully for Heat fans, it seems that Adebayo himself is acknowledging his struggles. He does not want to be the player who holds his team back, so he will want to bounce back strong.
"Just gotta shoot the basketball better. Obviously I can’t have 3 fouls in the 1Q, which is crazy, but you gotta live with the rebound... It's just aggravating... We'll figure it out," Adebayo said after the loss to the Pistons.
The Heat are not in good spirits, but it seems that they are disappointed enough to be motivated. It will be challenging to do so, but the Heat are ready to bounce back in the second night of a back-to-back, this time against the Charlotte Hornets.
