The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony has begun, with the biggest stars of the moment gathered Thursday (Oct. 22) at the James L. Knight Center in Miami for a night of unforgettable moments and performances.
This year, Peso Pluma tops the list of finalists for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards with 17 entries, including major categories such as Artist of the Year; Top Latin Album of the Year for DINASTÍA with Tito Double P; and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo. The Mexican music star is followed by Tito Double P with 15 mentions and Fuerza Regida with 12; Karol G with nine, Prince Royce with eight and Bad Bunny with seven.
Other finalists in multiple categories include Romeo Santos and Rosalía, with six mentions; Beéle, Herencia de Grandes, Los Dos De Tamaulipas, Omar Courtz and Shakira, with five each; and Clave Especial, Grupo Frontera, Junior H and Rauw Alejandro with four.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards, broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock, feature 47 categories spanning major Latin music genres such as pop, tropical, Latin rhythm, and regional Mexican. Additionally, for the first time fans have a historic opportunity to choose one of the night’s winners through a new award: Fan Favorite Artist.
The ceremony also honors extraordinary careers and contributions to music through honorary awards. Special honorees include Cristian Castro, with the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award for his enduring and exceptional career; Fuerza Regida, with the Billboard Vanguard Award in honor of the group’s rapid rise in music; Rosalía, with the Hall of Fame Award in recognition of her global influence; and Rubén Blades with the Billboard Icon Award, celebrating his timeless career in Latin music.
Among the artists set to perform throughout the evening are Carlos Rivera, Chuyin, Elvis Crespo, Erick Brian, Ha*Ash, Jessi Uribe, Kapo, La Nueva Ola de la Cumbia, Manuel Turizo, Melymel, Nanpa Básico, Nella, Ozuna, Pablo Alborán, Paola Jara, Pututi & Nesty, RIZA, SANTOS BRAVOS, Tito Double P, Víctor Manuelle, Xavi and Yahritza y Su Esencia.
In addition to Telemundo and Peacock, the ceremony can be watched live via the Telemundo app and on Telemundo Internacional across Latin America and the Caribbean.
