The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has invited businesses to bid for 11 tenders spanning facility management, information technology, and printing services, with opportunities reserved specifically for youth and women-owned enterprises.

The commission published the invitation targeting the 2026–2027 financial period, with all tender documents available through Kenya's electronic government procurement (e-GP) system.

Six of the 11 opportunities are set aside under affirmative action categories.

Youth-owned businesses may bid for window cleaning services at TSC House, maintenance and servicing of firefighting equipment, printing and photocopying services at 400 TSC sub-county offices, printing and photocopying across TSC headquarters and 54 regional and county offices, and the supply and integration of an enterprise-grade endpoint protection and advanced threat protection (ATP) solution.
Women-owned enterprises, meanwhile, are eligible to bid for comprehensive cleaning, sanitary services, and indoor plant maintenance at TSC headquarters, the supply and delivery of desktop computers, and the supply and delivery of laptops.
The remaining three tenders are open to general citizen contractors.
These cover lift inspection services at TSC House, a statutory fire safety audit for TSC buildings in Bomet, Machakos, and Kilifi counties, and the development, upgrading, and maintenance of a bulk SMS portal, USSD, and short code system.
The fire safety audit tender requires a bid security of KSh 160,000, while the SMS portal contract requires KSh 90,000.

Pre-Bid Visits and Closing Dates
For tenders requiring site visits, TSC has scheduled pre-bid sessions at its headquarters on October 19, 2026, at 10.00 am. These apply to the window cleaning, firefighting equipment, lift inspection, fire safety audit, and cleaning services contracts.
All 11 tenders close on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with opening times staggered between 9.00 am and 11.00 am depending on the specific contract.
