Two popular Bangladeshi web series, Ashfaque Nipun's Mohanagar and Amitabh Reza Chowdhury's Bohemian Ghora, are set to reach a wider Indian audience through Netflix as part of a new partnership with Bengali streaming platform Hoichoi.
Under the two-year agreement, all new Hoichoi series premiering during the period will be available exclusively on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, alongside their Bengali releases on Hoichoi.
The deal will also bring several existing Hoichoi productions to Netflix, including Madam Inspector, Sampurna, Lojja, Eken, The Curse of Parnashavari, Bloodlines, Queens and Parineeta: A Love Story.
The collaboration will extend to upcoming releases, with new Hoichoi titles set to debut on Netflix in the three languages alongside their Bengali premieres.
The lineup includes The Cursed Temple of Kauriburi, a folklore-inspired horror series starring Jeetu Kamal, Solanki Roy and Paoli Dam, scheduled for release on 6 November.
The partnership will also bring Hoichoi Studios and Netflix together to develop original series based on selected Hoichoi stories. The projects will explore new adaptations of existing narratives, with further details expected to be announced later.
The move is expected to expand the reach of Bengali-language productions among audiences across India through multilingual releases.
