Marvin Harrison Jr. is ready for a new beginning after being traded to the Houston Texans following a challenging stint with the Arizona Cardinals, hoping to turn his potential into production and finally find his footing in the NFL.
Once touted as one of the league’s most promising wide receivers, Harrison has an opportunity to reset his career in Houston, where he will look to live up to the lofty expectations that followed him when the Cardinals drafted him with the No. 4 pick in 2024, not to mention being the son of a football icon.
On Monday, the Texans made the 24-year-old Harrison’s addition official, posting a picture of him on X wearing team gear.

He tallied his first smile of the season.
As expected, fans got excited.
“You and CJ (Stroud) gonna put up generational numbers,” said @CaughtByBrevin.
“Hope you dominate!” added @mcummings29.
“Bro’s happy he got a decent QB,” wrote @TonyLittle4281.
“Welcome to H-Town, my fellow Buckeye. I’m so excited to have you and CJ back together. This will definitely be fun to watch! Let’s GO, TEXANS!” exclaimed @pippin_kay.
“Happy you got rescued. Light it up with CJ,” commented @NatiTim68.
As some mentioned, Harrison will be reunited with Stroud on the Texans. They played together at Ohio State for two seasons, forming one of the most explosive duos in college football.
Harrison will try to get back on track amid a slow start, tallying only five receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown in four games for the Cardinals.
The Texans traded a second-round pick and a seventh-round pick to the Cardinals for Harrison and a sixth-round pick.
