Dedication night is coming to Dancing With the Stars, giving the celeb cast a chance to dedicate their song to someone (or something) important in their life. These routines are usually highly emotional, so be prepared to grab some tissues while you’re watching. As the official press release puts it, “The ballroom gets personal as the 10 remaining couples take to the dance floor to deliver heartfelt performances honoring the influential people and places that have shaped their lives.”
The show just revealed who/what everyone’s dedicating their dance to (and the styles they’re performing in)—here are the details:
Jackson Olson and Emma Slater: a Quickstep to “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole, dedicated to Jackson’s mom Laura.
Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa: a Contemporary to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli, dedicated to Heath Ledger.
Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson: a Foxtrot to “Stop This Train” by John Mayer, dedicated to Harry’s wife Shelby.
Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess: a Contemporary to “Supermarket Flowers” by Ed Sheeran, dedicated to mothers.
Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas: a Paso Doble to “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” by Dropkick Murphys, dedicated to Ireland.
Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov: a Contemporary to “Breathe Me” by Sia, dedicated to Amber’s sister Brooke.
Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik: a Viennese Waltz to “(You Don’t Know) How Glad I Am” by Nancy Wilson (Dedication TBD).
Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach: a Contemporary to “Bloodline” by Mon Rovia, dedicated to Ezra’s mom Bahar.
Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold: a Viennese Waltz to “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, dedicated to Connor’s dad Pete.
Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy: a Viennese Waltz to “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers, dedicated to Jenna’s mom Nancy.
There will also be a performance dedicated to Dolly Parton set to “Here You Come Again,” so all in all, an unmissable evening.
