José Mourinho once again thrilled the Giallorossi fans with a message of affection and gratitude addressed to Roma and its fans.
The Portuguese coach chose particularly meaningful words to express how his experience in the capital has left a lasting impression on his career, overshadowing sporting achievements, goals, and victories.
In his message, Mourinho emphasized how the most precious memories of a long career can transcend the successes achieved on the pitch.
This thought testifies to the human value of the relationship he has built within the Roma community, where the bond with the fans has been one of the most intense aspects of his time with the Giallorossi.
This is the Special One’s message to his longtime fans, posted on his Instagram profile: “When the best moments of a long career are neither goals nor victories, but rather emotions for which I can only humbly express my gratitude. Thank you Roma, thank you Romanisti. Emotions and eternal gratitude to you. Jose.”
A relationship that transcended the confines of the game, not only for the Conference League victory in 2022 and the Europa League final in Budapest the following year. It’s not about trophies, it’s about love. And after Wednesday night’s tribute at the Olimpico with chants and banners, Mourinho decided to repay them.
