The “Super Team in LA
The Los Angeles Rams in the offseason; many fans were already gifting them the Super Bowl in August. Now, the team has their backs against the wall with a 2-4 record. They are still a poor special-teams team, but their offense is strong. Their defense is towards the middle of the pack in terms of total EPA.
Where does the team go from here? The Rams need to find ways to win these close battles. Matthew Stafford and this offense need to come together and start dominating teams. This team should be violent, but losing to the Arizona Cardinals is a tough look on the 2026 season resume.
Cam Ward in Year 2

Cam Ward was expected to take a jump with the Titans, bringing over Brian Daboll to be their offensive coordinator, drafting Carnell Tate, and adding former Giants WR Wandale Robinson. The team is averaging 14.9 points per game, and it doesn’t seem like this team is going to improve.
The offense is ranked 30th in EPA/Play, and they are 29th in EPA/Pass. Does this team find a way to tank for Jerimaeh Smith from Ohio State?

The Chargers Offense

The Chargers’ offense was getting lots of hype with the addition of Mike McDaniel joining the staff to be their offensive coordinator. Justin Herbert has not looked great, and now the team is considering pivoting to Adam Gase as their new guy. Omarion Hampton was getting some hype because Mike McDaniel is very good with running backs.
Jim Harbaugh’s seat is getting hotter and hotter. The team’s schedule is one of the toughest in the NFL, and if they continue to lose, then the Chargers are going to have to consider deciding on a new coach. This is the first time they started 0-6 since 2000, and their quarterback was Jim Harbaugh.
The NFC East

The NFC East are winless in the last two weeks, and this season is going downhill quickly. Jalen Hurts is out for the season with a blood clot; the Commanders have issues with Dan Quinn, and their team can’t stay healthy; the Cowboys’ defense has lots of money invested, and they still can’t get stops. The Giants continue to have issues with their quarterback situation. They need to figure out how to stop the run too.
There is a good chance that Dan Quinn (WAS), Nick Sirianni (PHI), and Brian Schotenhiemer (DAL) could all be out of jobs even before the end of the season.
