Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky warned President Trump Wednesday that he had chosen “the wrong side” by agreeing to import diesel fuel from Russia, which Zelensky said had handed Russian President Vladimir Putin an “easy victory.”
“It’s painful when President Trump chooses one side, not our side,” Zelensky told “Piers Morgan Uncensored”. “But we are okay that he’s in the middle. But if you’re in the middle, you have to stay in the middle. Not on the wrong side. I think his advisers are wrong. I don’t know who is pushing him. Not to the right side, this is not the right side of history.”
In the half-hour interview, Zelensky also accused SpaceX boss Elon Musk of restricting Ukrainian access to the Starlink internet system, which Kyiv officials said had disrupted key military operations.
“I am sure they knew what they did, absolutely,” he said. “Because it was 1 a.m. at night, [when] Starlink was blocked by SpaceX and the United States.”
“It’s not just about attack. It’s also about defending life,” Zelensky added. “So people were killed because, not enough destroying, not enough interceptors, including interceptors with Starlink, which didn’t work. Of course.”
