SUI crypto trades at $1.12, up +2.2% over 24 hours, as traders weigh a sharp recent rebound against overhead resistance. The Sui Foundation’s $30M investment in DATA Network adds an AI-data catalyst, but the key question is whether ecosystem news can help sustain a move above $1.15.
Under the partnership, DATA will retire its independent chain and migrate its existing token to a Sui-native protocol on a 1:1 basis. Walrus becomes the default storage layer for DATA applications, while Trace tracks AI-training-data provenance and usage rights.
The next generation of AI needs real-world data from people, with consent and provenance built in.@datafdn’s DATA Network and Trace, a registry with 250M+ receipts, are joining Sui and @WalrusProtocol to scale rights-cleared AI training data.

The partnership announcement says Trace has recorded more than 250 million contributions and averages over 3 million receipts daily. A useful media embed would be the announcement or a chart showing those activity figures alongside SUI’s price.
This is a strategic expansion, not proof of immediate token demand: adoption, migration timing, and token economics still matter. SUI has rallied from recent lows, but a bullish backdrop does not remove nearby technical hurdles. The price response at resistance now matters more than the headline alone.
Can Sui Crypto Price Break $1.26 This Week?
At $1.12, SUI sits above the $1.11 support but below the $1.18–$1.26 resistance band. The setup is a volatile consolidation after a wedge breakout, with momentum improved but no confirmed clearance of the main overhead zone. CoinGecko data puts 24-hour volume at $511M and market cap near $4.6Bn, making it the 29th largest digital asset.
The bull case is that SUI crypto holding $1.11 and reclaiming $1.18 would put $1.26 in focus. An hourly close above $1.27 has also been cited as a possible breakout confirmation. Beyond that, $1.29 is a nearer extension, while $1.40 would require stronger follow-through.
The base case is continued range trading between support and resistance. If $1.11 fails, $1.00–$1.04 becomes the next area to watch. Network development can support the longer-term narrative, as seen in other infrastructure and settlement discussions such as Solana’s tokenized-asset settlement context.

SUI’s rebound offers a constructive setup, but resistance limits the clean upside case until buyers establish acceptance above $1.26. That distinction matters: a strong chart can draw attention, while late entries still face a crowded trade and a defined invalidation level.
For traders looking beyond a large-cap move, an early-stage project offers a different risk profile, not a substitute for confirming SUI’s breakout.
LiquidChain (LIQUID) is a Layer 3 infrastructure project built to fuse Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana liquidity into one execution environment. Its stated price is $0.014964, and it has raised $983,671.92.
Staking APY is live at a super-high 1,100%. The project highlights a unified liquidity layer and single-step execution, alongside verifiable settlement and a deploy-once architecture. That design aims to let developers deploy once and access all three ecosystems.
