BUSAN — Air Busan (298690.KS) is launching a broad discount campaign on international fares aimed at budget-conscious travelers planning late year-end trips.
The carrier said its "My Travel Report" international fare promotion will run from 11 a.m. on Oct. 14 through Oct. 20. The offer covers key routes departing from Busan and Incheon to Japan, China and Southeast Asia.
The lineup includes Guangzhou, Chiang Mai and Kagoshima, new routes from Busan that the airline has been building up, widening the range of options for travelers in the region. Travel dates run from this month through Dec. 31, making the fares useful for trips over the winter holidays or on annual leave. The airline said it sharply improved price competitiveness.
The promotion goes beyond fare discounts. Customers who buy promotional tickets also receive a discount coupon for an add-on service bundle that combines advance seat selection with free checked baggage, cutting incidental costs.
"We expect this to be a good option for customers who want to wrap up the year with the people who matter to them while planning a reasonably priced trip," an Air Busan official said.
Air Busan is also running a separate "Getting Ready for Winter" discount event on all domestic routes through Oct. 19. Details are available on the airline's website and its mobile web and app.
