He finished the contest with two targets, no receptions, and a dropped pass.

While this is certainly the fewest amount of snaps that Thomas Jr. has played this season, Sunday's game continues the trend of his role and opportunities being reduced.
In Weeks 4 and 5, Thomas Jr. had just five total targets and no receptions. On the season, he has nine catches on 18 targets for 105 yards and a score, per PFF.
Thomas Jr.'s lack of playing time against the Texans comes as Travis Hunter saw more snaps, while rookie Josh Cameron continues to earn more reps. Jacksonville also continues to lean into the two tight end sets.
Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington lead the way at wide receiver.
The Jaguars have reportedly remained adamant that they won't trade Thomas Jr., but it's becoming increasingly difficult to see where he fits in this offense.
