A failure in South Korea's court computer system on the 22nd disrupted online court services including electronic litigation filings.

Access delays occurred on the judiciary's judicial information disclosure portal and its electronic litigation portal, according to legal circles. Some services on the Korea Information System of Criminal Justice Services (KICS) were also not running smoothly.
The Justice Ministry's criminal justice common system operations unit said in a notice that "the court case search service has not been running smoothly since 4:05 p.m. due to circumstances on the court's side."
The judiciary's information technology office also issued a notice saying services were being delayed because of a failure in the judiciary's computer information system.
It has not been confirmed whether the outage disrupted actual trial proceedings or the processing of warrants.
