The opening ceremony of the Billie Jean King Cup (BJKC) Asia/Oceania Group III (B) 2026 was held here at the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Complex, marking the official commencement of the prestigious international women’s team tennis competition.
Contingent and representatives of the participating nations — Bahrain, Bhutan, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Maldives, Pakistan and Qatar — attended the ceremony, showcasing the spirit of international sportsmanship, friendship and unity through tennis.
The event brings together national teams from across the Asia/Oceania region to compete for their countries in one of the most prestigious international team competitions in women’s tennis.
The Pakistan Tennis Federation is proud to host the participating nations in Islamabad and looks forward to a competitive and memorable championship, highlighting the talent, determination and sportsmanship of women’s tennis players from across the region. The competition is scheduled to take place from October 21 to 24 at the PTF Tennis Complex.
