LG CNS (064400.KS) said on the 19th that it has been named a "Major Player" in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Digital Workplace Services (DWS) 2026 Vendor Assessment. It is the first time a Korean company has been included in the assessment. LG CNS was evaluated alongside major global IT firms including Infosys, Dell and HP.
IDC MarketScape is a vendor analysis model that assesses the current business capabilities and future strategies of global information technology companies. It examines not only product and service competitiveness but also customer references and actual customer experience.
LG CNS said it was named a Major Player because of its differentiated digital workplace service capabilities, centered on a:xink, its agentic AI service for workplace innovation. The service offers a range of agentic AI functions, including enterprise and mobile work portals and groupware, personal AI agents, AI translation and meeting support, and AI document drafting.

IDC cited three strengths at LG CNS: AI-native platform capabilities, expertise in regulated industries and in secure, network-separated environments, and customer-validated end-to-end delivery capabilities. The IDC report said companies seeking to move beyond traditional digital workplace services toward agent-based work execution should consider LG CNS as an innovation partner to support that shift.
Customers who took part in the assessment also gave high marks to the company's end-to-end delivery capabilities spanning consulting, implementation and operations, its deep understanding of client business environments and industries, its flexibility and responsiveness, its customer-focused approach to collaboration, and the quality of its agentic AI capabilities and personnel.
LG CNS said work productivity improved 20% to 40% after it applied a:xink and other digital workplace services at overseas sites of LG affiliates in the United States, China, Singapore and Germany. Combining productivity gains from shorter working hours with savings on licensing fees compared with adopting foreign solutions, the company said annual cost savings could reach tens of billions of won.
Kim Hong-keun, executive vice president and head of the Digital Business Division at LG CNS, said the Major Player designation is significant because it shows the company's digital workplace service competitiveness, built around a:xink, has been recognized in the global market. "We will continue to transform customers' work productivity based on agentic AI and further strengthen our position in the market," the executive said.
