For this week only, Walmart is offering a powerful yet sleek Gigabyte A16 Pro 16" RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop for just $1,449.00 with free shipping. This was one of the more popular deals to pop up during the GeForce Week Event last month and it's back for one more hurrah. In addition to the powerful GPU, the A16 Pro comes preinstalled with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, which means you don't need to go out and pay an exorbitant amount of money to add more.
Gigabyte A16 Pro 16" RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Laptop for $1,449
The Gigabyte A16 Pro laptop measures 0.77" at its thinnest point and weighs just 5 pounds, which is light for a 16" gaming laptop. It's equipped with a 16" 2560x1600 165Hz IPS display, Intel Core 7 240H CPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GPU with 115W TGP, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The Intel Core 7 240H is a 10-core CPU with a max turbo frequency of 5.2GHz. This is a solid, efficient processor for gaming. The RAM is not user upgradeable so it's good that the system already includes 32GB pre-installed. The SSD, on the other hand, is user-upgradeable.
The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU can handle the most demanding games
The RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU performs about 20%-30% better than the RTX 5070. Compared to Nvidia's previous generation RTX 4000 mobile GPUs, it's comparable in performance to the RTX 4080 and pulls ahead of it in games that support DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation. The A16 Pro's 5070 Ti GPU is throttled down to 115W TGP instead of the usual 140W max in order to cut down on heat, but it's powerful enough to run most games smoothly on the display's 1600p resolution from classic favs like League of Legends, Roblox, or Fortnite to new releases like Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
