The Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) and New Orleans Saints (2-4) meet in Saint-Denis, France, at Stade de France for the NFL’s latest overseas game and first in France. The two teams kick off at 9:30 AM ET, and after the contest, they will have a very different-looking week to follow. New Orleans has a bye week, so some of the players may stay in France a day or two, while Pittsburgh hosts Cleveland in a revenge spot. Last week, Pittsburgh beat Tampa Bay, 26-19 in OT, and New Orleans outlasted the Giants’ comeback bid, 34-27.
New Orleans broke a three-game losing streak with the win over New York. The Saints entered the half tied at 10 apiece then outscored the Giants 17-0 in the third quarter. Tyler Shough tossed three touchdowns and ran for another in a season-high four touchdown effort. Kendre Miller received a season-high 20 carries and turned that into 70 yards and 3.5 yards per carry. The Saints defense grabbed three interceptions, recovered a fumble, and earned five sacks. The fourth-quarter defense, though, was a different story. The Giants have seven fourth quarter drives and scored 17 points on three-consecutive scoring drives led by J.J. McCarthy who came in and threw a Giants record 243 yards in the fourth quarter (tied Eli Manning). The New Orleans pass defense will likely look better against Aaron Rodgers and his 6.7 yards per pass attempt this week.
Pittsburgh has won two straight games and put up 60 points in that span and is 3-1 over the last four games with at least 24 points in all four. Rodgers has thrown at least two touchdowns in four straight games and has thrown a touchdown to seven different players this season. Jaylen Warren has commanded the backfield with 85% or more of the snap share at running back, even with Rico Dowdle back from injury. The Steelers defense held Tamp Bay to 224 yards, 3.1 yards per play, grabbed five sacks, and two interceptions. The Steelers are running the fifth-most zone coverage this year (82.4%), and Shoiugh has worse completion percentages, passer rating, and catchable rate versus zone than man coverage.
Let’s dive into the numbers and see if we can’t find an additional sweat or two.

Expert picks & predictions for Steelers vs Saints
Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) likes Tyler Shough to go Over his completion and attempt props:
“Last week, Tyler Shough had a season-low 16 completions, the second-fewest pass attempts (30), and second-fewest yards per completion (4.8). I expect different results this Sunday when the Saints visit France. Over the last four games, all four quarterbacks have gone over their completions and pass attempt props against the Steelers: Joe Burrow (28/37), Deshaun Watson (24/33), Daniel Jones (24/44), and Jalon Daniels (22/43). I think Shough can add his name to the list, especially with his running back struggles this season. Kendre Miller should not receive anywhere near 20 carries this week, and Alvin Kamara isn’t 100 percent. Even with Slough’s struggles against zone coverage, I believe Shough goes over his 23.5 completions prop and 35.5 pass attempts. The Saints run the second-most pass plays per game (45.0) and rank third in pace of play. I don’t think either changes in this game.

Quarterback matchup for Steelers vs Saints
· New Orleans: Tyler Shough – Shough finished second in Rookie of the Year voting last season and started 2026 great, but has seen a sharp decline in his numbers the past two games. After averaging 300.7 yards per game with 10 total touchdowns to three picks through four contests, Shough has averaged 120.0 passing yards and has four touchdowns, all coming last week. Shough’s four total scores tied a season-high, but going from 96 yards against the Vikings to 144 versus the Giants wasn’t much better. Shough has 51 pressured throws this season, which ranks second-most, plus he’s ranked top five in danger throws and interceptable passes. The 27-year-old has had his youngster moments, but overall it’s been a good season for Shough. He’s posting a top-10 completion percentage when pressured (58.8%) and in the red zone (70.4%). He has the most pass attempts in the league (206) and fifth-most deep ball attempts (25). Shough will likely take his chances, and if the Steelers choose to play closer to the Saints pace (15th vs 3rd), then Shough could be in for another bigger day in Paris.
· Pittsburgh: Aaron Rodgers – Rodgers has been on a heater for the Steelers. Pittsburgh is 3-1 in the last four games, and Rodgers has thrown at least two touchdowns in all four (11 total) with an 11:4 TD to INT ratio in that stretch. Rodgers is coming off a season-high 33 completions and 49 pass attempts against Tampa Bay, to go along with 253 yards. Rodgers tossed at least 200 yards in five of six and 235-plus in the past four. Through six games, Rodgers ranks first in completion percentage against man coverage (61.1%), but New Orleans runs the third-fewest man (9.5%) and the eighth-highest zone (80.2%). Rodgers has completed 69% of his passes against zone (19th) and has the 13th-ranked passer rating (100.2).
