A group working for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, The BTO for PBAT ’27 Support Group has concluded its two-day Unit-to-Unit tour of Okitipupa Local Government Area in Ondo State as part of its statewide grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The delegation visited wards across the council area, met with political stakeholders, ward coordinators, community leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The exercise recorded large turnout of residents and party faithful, with several participants pledging support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The group, which operates within the political family of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), said the tour is aimed at strengthening grassroots relationships, deepening political participation and fostering unity among party stakeholders.
The Director-General of the group, Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, described the reception in Okitipupa as encouraging, noting that the movement is committed to direct engagement with party members and communities rather than limiting activities to state-level meetings.

He said the tour would also provide platforms for dialogue with residents, voter education, political reconciliation and discussion of community issues.
Mr. Adojutelegan thanked the Okitipupa Local Government Coordinator, ward coordinators, community stakeholders and party leaders for their participation, and commended Tunji-Ojo for his leadership role in strengthening APC cohesion in the state.
The Okitipupa tour is part of a larger programme to cover all 18 Local Government Areas, 203 political wards and 3,933 polling units in Ondo State.
The group had earlier completed a similar exercise in Ondo West Local Government Area.
