Xiaomi's MiMo-V2.6-Pro is now live inside Tencent's WorkBuddy desktop AI agent, Xiaomi's technical account said on October 20. The same model is listed on Tencent Cloud's TokenHub model catalog under the API id mimo-v2.6-pro.
This story is about distribution, not a new open-weight drop. Xiaomi already released and open-sourced the MiMo-V2.6 Pro and Flash models in September. The new step is putting Pro into a mainstream Chinese office agent and into Tencent Cloud's multi-vendor model gateway so third-party apps can call it with familiar SDKs.
According to Xiaomi, MiMo-V2.6-Pro brings a 1-million-token context window, multi-agent task splitting, and joint understanding across image, video, audio and text. Xiaomi positions the WorkBuddy integration for long-running professional workflows such as deep research, document work, design drafts and small tool building. It also cites a score of 46 on the Artificial Analysis intelligence index and calls that the top open-source result; that ranking is Xiaomi's characterization of a third-party leaderboard and can change as other models update.
On TokenHub, Tencent Cloud documents mimo-v2.6-pro with a 1M context window, 1M maximum input and 128K maximum output, plus multimodal understanding, deep reasoning, structured output, function calling and caching. The endpoint supports OpenAI Chat Completions, OpenAI Responses and Anthropic Messages, so teams can point existing clients at TokenHub without rewriting protocol code. MiMo-V2.6-Flash is listed the same way under mimo-v2.6-flash.
WorkBuddy users get the model as a selectable backend inside Tencent's agent. Developers who need API access go through TokenHub rather than Xiaomi's own September open-source download path. Pricing for TokenHub usage follows Tencent Cloud's model catalog and is separate from Xiaomi's earlier self-serve API rates for the open MiMo-V2.6 series.
The launch is thin on new model architecture detail, but it marks another Chinese foundation model showing up as a first-class option inside a major third-party agent and cloud inference hub.
