গত সোমবার (১৯ অক্টোবর) ইসরায়েল, সৌদি আরব, ইরাক, লেবানন, জর্ডান, কাতার, বাহরাইন, কুয়েত, ওমান, সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত, ইয়েমেন ও ইরানে অবস্থানরত মার্কিন নাগরিকদের জন্য এ সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়।

এদিকে, সৌদি আরবে অবস্থিত মার্কিন দূতাবাস জানিয়েছে, দেশটির নিরাপত্তা পরিস্থিতি বেশ জটিল। দূতাবাসের সতর্কবার্তায় বলা হয়েছে, ইরান-সমর্থিত হুথিরা সৌদি আরবে হামলা চালিয়েছে।

এ পরিস্থিতির প্রভাব পড়েছে বিমান চলাচলেও। কাতার এয়ারওয়েজ সোমবার জানিয়েছে, সৌদি আরবের রিয়াদ ও দাম্মামে তাদের ফ্লাইট ২৪ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত বন্ধ থাকবে। অন্যদিকে, জেদ্দায় প্রতিদিনের ফ্লাইটের সংখ্যা সাতটি থেকে কমিয়ে চারটিতে নামানো হবে।
