Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for its Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G in China, with official sales scheduled to begin on October 30.
The new water purifier starts at approximately $225 and features a 13-stage filtration system designed to remove 145 types of contaminants from tap water.
Xiaomi says the device uses physical filtration without chemical scale inhibitors and can purify up to 50 tons of water over its rated service life.
Filtration and Water Quality
The Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G uses a 13-stage filtration system with a claimed filtration precision of 0.0001 microns.
According to Xiaomi, the system can remove 145 types of contaminants, including impurities, residual chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses.
The purifier also includes a self-cleaning function that flushes stagnant water from its pipes after periods of inactivity.
Xiaomi says the system meets mother-and-baby-grade purification standards and produces BPA-free water.
Antibacterial Protection
The purifier features an antibacterial post-filter and antibacterial materials inside the outlet pipe to reduce the risk of contamination.
Xiaomi claims the system achieves an antibacterial rate of over 99% against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.
The company says these features help prevent bacterial growth when the purifier remains unused for extended periods.
Water Flow and Performance
The Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G supports a high-flow output rated at approximately 1400G for direct drinking water.
It delivers an initial flow rate of up to 3.74 liters per minute, allowing it to fill a 150ml glass in approximately 2.4 seconds.
The purifier is designed to provide sufficient filtered water for households with high daily consumption.
Smart Features
Xiaomi has equipped the purifier with a high-definition display that shows water modes, volume settings, and total dissolved solids (TDS) readings.
The device also carries an IPX8 waterproof rating and supports connectivity through the Mi Home app.
Through the application, users can monitor water quality, check water consumption, track remaining filter life, adjust water flow, and order replacement filters.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G is available for pre-order in China at a starting price of approximately $225.
Official sales will begin on October 30, 2026.
Xiaomi has not announced whether the purifier will be available in international markets.
