Sometimes, “Nothing Else Matters” more than a deal.
A few days ahead of Metallica’s fourth week of their Life Burns Faster residency at Las Vegas Sphere, ticket prices are lower for the Thursday, Oct. 22 show than ever before.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for the first night of their No Repeat Weekend was $486 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Last week, we reported prices started at $495 including fees.
While the $9 in savings is relatively small, it speaks to a trend we’ve noticed on a weekly basis for Metallica Sphere tickets. If you go through The Post’s past stories on Metallica, our records show that ticket prices often start high and drop at the last minute.
Therefore, we recommend refreshing this link. Who knows? You just might find a last-minute deal.
And should you take the plunge and procure tickets, you’ll be treated to the show of a lifetime.
“The visuals are the main focus, but the Sphere’s immersive sound does Metallica’s performance justice,” Spin Magazine raved in a glowing review of a recent concert.
“In their 60s, their decades of musicianship are at their peak, although it’s hard not to wonder how much longer they can sustain this level of intensity. ‘Impressive’ is an understatement.”
Fans that attend on Night One (aka this Thursday’s show) will witness a show made up of fan favorites like “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Sad But True,” “Ride the Lightning” and, of course, “Nothing Else Matters,” according to Set List FM.
Set List FM reports night two standouts include “Enter Sandman,” “One,” “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” :The Unforgiven” and “Fuel.”

Metallica new music
On April 14, 2023, Metallica dropped their 11th studio album “72 Seasons.”
The thrumming, high-velocity record quickly sets the tone with the non-stop thrill ride title track and then refuses to let up throughout its healthy 77-minute runtime.
Indisputable highlights include the snaking “Sleepwalk My Life Away,” nakedly raw “You Must Burn!” and unrelenting “Lux Æterna.” Don’t expect a second to breathe; Metallica goes hard the entire time with nary a moment to rest. Just the way it should be.
To hear for yourself, you can listen to “72 Seasons” here.
