Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson will only miss one game after all...
Jackson, who was caught on camera sucker punching Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb following an overtime loss Monday, was initially suspended two games for his role in the incident Tuesday. NFL hearing officer Derrick Brooks decided to reduce that term following an appeal on Wednesday.
Jackson will now miss just one game.

The NFL did not release any information regarding the appeal, but one could theorize that Jackson's case included evidence regarding the provocation from Chubb. If not, the league certainly seems indifferent regarding incidents that would be described as assault if they didn't happen on a football field.
Jackson will miss his club's Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, meaning he'll lose $934,555 of his $16.822 million base salary for 2026.
Chubb was unpunished for his role, though icing his face was probably somewhat uncomfortable.
