The vehicles were filmed at the intersection of Kneza Milosa and Kralja Milana streets, near London Square, heading toward Terazije. They were allowed through a police blockade that had closed traffic on Kneza Milosa Street.
N1 readers also reported seeing a convoy of approximately 20 Gendarmerie vehicles traveling toward Belgrade on the Belgrade–Nis highway earlier in the day.
Similar vehicles were used during protests in Novi Sad in the summer of 2025, when Gendarmerie officers deployed them to push demonstrators off major boulevards and wide streets.
Serbia is holding snap parliamentary elections on Sunday, October 25. Voting has so far been marked by high turnout, as well as numerous reported incidents and irregularities at polling stations.
