A Korean singer will meet fans through a performance after controversies involving infidelity and assault of his ex-wife, sparking massive backlash.
On October 13th, singer-songwriter Yun Ddan Ddan posted on his social media account, “Sincere thank you to everyone who purchased tickets. See you in two weeks on Sunday,” sharing his thoughts ahead of the concert.

Earlier, on the 29th of last month, Yun Ddan Ddan announced the upcoming live performance, scheduled for November 1, saying, “It’s been a while since I greeted you through a performance. I will prepare well. Thank you.”
Particularly, the seating chart he released showed seat numbers from 1 to 46, attracting attention. This suggests the concert will be held on a small stage with a capacity of 46 seats.
However, public opinion regarding his return to performing is divided. While some fans welcomed his comeback to the stage after a long time, others criticized, saying, “It’s too shameless,” or “Isn’t it too soon to return?”
Yun Ddan Ddan married singer-songwriter Silverbell (also known as EUNJONG and Son Ha Eun) in 2019, but news of their divorce emerged last June, engulfing him in personal controversies.

At that time, Silverbell revealed on her social media account, “The lawsuit I filed against my husband’s affair partner ended in my favor after a year-long dispute.” Additionally, she claimed to have been assaulted by Yun Ddan Ddan during their marriage, sparking significant backlash.
In response, Yun Ddan Ddan admitted to using physical force in the course of marital conflict but also claimed that his wife verbally and physically abused him. He accepted fault for communicating with another woman and expressed remorse.
Following the spread of the controversy, Yun Ddan Ddan suspended activities and in December last year stated, “This is all the price I have to pay for how I have lived and the mistakes I’ve made.”
He apologized, saying, “I am deeply sorry for the shock and disappointment felt by fans who left,” and confided, “I shamelessly hope for a day when I can be loved again someday.“
