UEFA has announced its Champions League Team of the Week for Matchday 2, with Barcelona star Lamine Yamal and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane among the headline inclusions.
However, the standout individual award went to Bradley Barcola, who was named MVP after an impressive performance for Liverpool against LASK.
Yamal played a key role in Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Galatasaray, contributing directly to both goals that helped Hansi Flick’s side take control after the break.
Kane continued his remarkable European scoring run, finding the net for the ninth consecutive Champions League match and contributing to Bayern’s third goal.
The selection, made by UEFA’s panel of technical observers, recognises standout performances across the second matchday of Europe’s premier club competition.
