Apple will launch its first touchscreen OLED MacBook on October 28. The company sent out the official invite with the tagline "Pro and tell", and it works nicely with what the reports have said all along - expect the new OLED-clad, touch-enabled MacBook Pros, and possibly an updated iMac and an OLED iPad mini.
The iQOO Neo12 is launching in China on October 28, and the company revealed its design and three color options – Fierce Edge, Shadow Black, and Frost Blade Blue. The Find X10 Pro Max features the new 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, and an impressive triple 200MP camera setup. India's smartphone market suffered its worst third quarter since 2016, with shipments falling 26% year-on-year to 35.8 million units, according to Omdia. Samsung reclaimed the top spot with 6.7 million shipments and a 19% market share, followed by vivo with 6.4 million, Oppo with 4.9 million, Xiaomi with 4.7 million, and Apple with 3.9 million. Rising prices and cautious consumer spending were the main reasons behind the decline.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi K100 is launching in China on October 28 with a massive 10,000mAh battery, 100W charging, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. Samsung also reportedly signed major five-year memory supply contracts, with 70% of its DRAM production and all of its HBM output for 2027 already reserved. The resulting memory shortage is expected to push prices higher, potentially making upcoming smartphones, including the Galaxy S27 series, more expensive.
