The summit's innovation challenge will feature presentations by the top 20 teams on 23 October, 2026, followed by the grand finale and leadership summit on 31 October at North South University in Dhaka, according to the press release.
The national initiative will bring together university students, researchers, policymakers and industry professionals, encouraging young innovators to develop practical solutions to Bangladesh's energy challenges.
The programme includes expert-led bootcamps, research and pitching sessions, and a national innovation challenge focused on policy-driven solutions.
The second round of the Power Policy Innovation Challenge on 23 October will feature live presentations by the top 20 teams, with expert judges evaluating their proposals.
The grand finale and leadership summit on 31 October will include keynote sessions, policy discussions, innovation showcases, final pitch presentations, an awards ceremony and networking opportunities.
Through the initiative, the student chapter aims to connect young innovators with industry leaders and policymakers while supporting Bangladesh's transition towards a more sustainable energy future.
