The derby will only be Roberto De Zerbi’s second since he took over Spurs in the spring, but he will know it is just as important as ever as Tottenham chase just their second win of the season.
They got off the mark last time out as they hosted Coventry and secured a nervy 3-1 win, but picked up a couple of new injuries in the process. James Maddison has missed three days of training since, while Dejan Kulusevski is also not expected to feature.
Pedor Porro has returned, though, in a boost to the north London contingent.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are in fine fettle since picking up a bracing 2-0 defeat of Everton last week, in doing so keeping a league clean sheet for the first time since January.
Victory over the most bitter rivals here would take their winning run to three matches before they have to visit Liverpool in midweek Carabao Cup action.
