From the Seattle Seahawks 18 yard line, Bo Nix would roll out and find no one open. He would squeeze the ball in to Troy Franklin for just a two yard gain. On second and eight, the Denver Broncos would try another screen pass and it was almost blown up but Nix got the ball around the rushing linebacker to RJ Harvey who found his way all the way down to the four yard line to setup a first and goal.
Two plays later J.K. Dobbins would score the game’s first touchdown to put Denver in the lead capping a 16-play, 74 yard scoring drive.

Broncos 7, Seahawks 3.
After a really good return on the kickoff, the Seattle Seahawks started their next drive from their own 45-yard line. They’d get a first down across midfield, but the Broncos defense went into full lock down mode from there to force three straight nothing and a punt to give Denver the ball back near the 20 yard line.
Denver was on the cusp of going three-and-out after a screen pass to Marvin Mims Jr. came up just shy of the first down marker, but a personal foul face mask gave them the first down. J.K. Dobbins then ripped off a 16 yard run on the very next play to put the Broncos into Seahawks territory.

After a seven yard pass to Jaylen Waddle and a short run by RJ Harvey, the Broncos had a third and a short one. From the shotgun, Nix handed off to Harvey who powered his way all the way down to the 25 yard line for another first down.
Two plays later a shot to Courtland Sutton in the end zone was called for defensive pass interference to set the Broncos up at the Seahawks one yard line where RJ Harvey would take the direct snap into the end zone for the touchdown.

Broncos 14, Seahawks 3.
Needing to come back with some points after the Broncos two touchdown onslaught, the Seahawks took over with great field position after Wil Lutz kicked it out of bounds on the kickoff. The Seahawks hit the ground game and churned off some good yards to get into field goal range with three minutes to go in the half.
On a reverse, Nik Bonitto tackled Rashid Shaheed where his knee knocked the ball loose and Justin Strnad recovered.

Denver’s offense could not capitalize on the turnover and would punt it back after running just about 30 seconds off the clock. Seattle would hold the ball for about a minute and do the same.
The punt was excellent, though, and pinned the Broncos on their own 13 yard line. They would try to get a pass in, but a holding call set them half the distance, so they’d just run the clock out from there.
