Japanese actor and singer Gen Hoshino and Yui Aragaki shared the news on October 13 through the former’s social media channels. Hoshino thanked all the people around them for ensuring their first child arrived in this world safely and urged fans to keep watching over their precious family with warmth and support.
Gen Hoshino and Yui Aragaki were co-stars in the 2016 drama The Full-time Wife Escapist, but didn’t begin dating until they were reunited on screen for the show’s New Year’s special episode in 2021. The couple eventually tied the knot the same year.
