Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) fought tears in Emmerdale as he received a staggering 10 years behind bars for his role in the deaths of Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Jimmy King (Nick Miles).
Dawn and Jimmy met tragic ends in August after Vinny took a phone call while behind the wheel of his car, which led to a series of events which claimed the lives of the characters in question.
He ultimately came clean and pleaded guilty and in tonight’s visit to the village, he said his goodbyes and headed to court, where he was left in shock as the judge made an example out of him, delivering a sentencing of 10 years.
Little did he know, however, that Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) had paid off said judge in a bid to ensure justice was served, hence why such a long sentence was handed out.
Kim Tate (Claire King), meanwhile, thought she’d found an ally in the form of DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge), unaware of her true motives. And later, Kim was at the centre of a big twist herself…
Elsewhere, Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) got to work on her plan to help Joe get revenge, becoming friendly with Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly). But just what have they got planned?
For a first look at what happens next, you’re in luck we’ve got a breakdown of tomorrow’s visit to the village.
What happens next in Emmerdale? Spoilers for Tuesday, October 13 episode
With Vinny out of the picture, Joe turns his attention to the Miligans, revealing details of his plan to Sadie.
He wants Sadie to spy on Ruby and Caleb (William Ash) and obtain any evidence that could ultimately destroy them. Sadie, however, is somewhat apprehensive about such a thing.
Up Next
And just what will lie in store for Kim and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) after tonight’s big twist?
Elsewhere, Matty Barton (Ash Palminsciano) is struggling to get used to the new set up at the farm as he’s left holding the fort. What’s more, he’s not getting enough sleep following the arrival of Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) and Sarah (Katie Hill) due to baby Leyla.
Over at Wishing Well, Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia (Karen Blick) couldn’t be more excited for Samson’s (Sam Hall) comeback – but when Cain (Jeff Hordley) arrives in a bad mood, they reckon it’s probably best to keep news of Samson’s return from him.
Robert (Ryan Hawley), meanwhile, is eager to re-open The Hide but he receives a blow when Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) explains that the paper work could take a month to go through.
The situation is soon resolved and Robert looks forward, with the opening scheduled for the following day. However, a subsequent conversation could put the brakes on things.
Emmerdale airs these scenes Tuesday, October 13 at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX or YouTube.
