After this week’s pivotal matchup with Iowa, the Gophers will travel to Bloomington for an even tougher test against the defending national champions. Minnesota’s first game against Indiana since Curt Cignetti arrived in 2024 will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and be broadcast on CBS.

How to watch
- Date: Saturday, Oct. 31
- Time: 2:30 p.m. CT
- TV/streaming: CBS
The Gophers last appeared on CBS’s Big Ten game of the week in Week 2 against Mississippi State. The network’s 2:30 p.m. CT window doesn’t have the same cachet as it did when it had a contract with the SEC, but it’s still one of the biggest time slots in college football.
Indiana looks like a contender for the Big Ten championship again this season, despite losing a hard-fought battle against Ohio State in Week 7. The Hoosiers are No. 6 in the latest AP Poll, and they will face Michigan on the road this week before hosting the Gophers.
The Gophers haven’t beaten a top-10 team since their historic win over No. 4 Penn State at home in 2019. P.J. Fleck has never beaten a top-10 team on the road while at Minnesota. The Gophers will face a daunting task in Week 9 against Indiana.
