Anker’s 6-port USB charging station is $50 off, near its lowest price

Tired of juggling so many chargers that clutter up your desk? This Anker 6-port charging station can fix that problem, routing all your power cables through one tidy point. Right now, you can get one on sale for just $99.99 at Amazon, $50 off its original $149.99. That’s only $5 more than its all-time lowest price, and that’s still a solid deal.

Just plug it into a power outlet, then place it on the corner of your desk. That power cord is 5 feet long, so you have flexibility on where you can place. Then, all you have to do is connect your USB cables to this charging station to get on-demand charging of your phone, laptop, tablet, earbuds, and whatever else needs power. With four USB-C and two USB-A, it offers just enough coverage for all your stuff, and you can charge simultaneously.

Is it fast enough for laptops? You bet. It supports 250W of total power, able to deliver up to 140W on the main USB-C port, up to 100W on the other USB-C ports, and up to 22.5W on the USB-A ports. Note, when multiple ports are used at the same time, the 250W total gets split between them, so you may not hit each port’s max. But the nifty digital display shows how much power is routing to each port, so no surprises.

This is a heavy-duty charger for power users. That $99 sale price tag is a great value for someone who has an entire power strip taken up by adapters and chargers. But for someone who only has a phone and earbuds to keep charged, it’s overkill. It also isn’t very portable. For those latter cases, you might be better off with an Anker 3-Port Charger or Anker Travel Power Strip instead, respectively.
