Wicklow estate agency DNG Thornton Properties has been named Mid East Regional Branch of the Year at the company’s 2026 national awards.
Established in 2021 by Anna and Brian Thornton, the Wicklow and Arklow estate agency received the accolade at a ceremony held recently at the Curragh Racecourse in Co Kildare.
The awards brought together more than 150 delegates representing 82 DNG offices across Ireland, recognising achievements in customer service, leadership and business performance throughout the company’s franchise network.
Anna Thornton, managing director of DNG Thornton Properties, accepted the award on behalf of the local team, with Kevin Grace of PrepayPower making the presentation.
“Having joined DNG when we were setting up our business in 2021, we’re thrilled to receive the Mid East Regional Branch of the Year award,” Ms Thornton said.
“It means a lot to have the work of our team recognised, particularly the effort they put in every day for our clients and the communities we serve.
“We’re very proud to be part of the DNG network and delighted to bring the award home to DNG Thornton Properties.”
Ahead of the awards ceremony, delegates heard from speakers examining developments in the Irish property market and the wider business landscape, including emerging technology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
Contributors included The Irish Times, DNG Financial Services, Hamptons International and PrepayPower.
The gathering also coincided with DNG’s sponsorship of the Curragh’s October race day, which included three races sponsored by the estate agency network.
