Think Wemby is ready for the season? Watch him throw off-the-backboard alley-oop to himself

If you had any doubts about whether Victor Wembanyama is ready for the NBA season, watch this clip.

Wembanyama had 14 points, eight rebounds and a couple of blocked shots in his 17 minutes of work in the Spurs' final preseason game.

Wemby and the Spurs tip off the season with what feels like Game 8 of last season's epic Western Conference Finals, hosting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder, starting at 9:30 p.m. ET, a game you can watch on NBC or stream on Peacock. That game is the final game of the night, part of a star-studded triple-header featuring Boston at Detroit (3 p.m. Eastern), then LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers trying to spoil ring night for Jalen Brunson and the champion New York Knicks, a game that tips off at 7 p.m. Eastern. Watch all of that triple-header on NBC or stream on Peacock.
