AS Monaco are without Eric Dier, who has been a mainstay at the back for the Principality club so far this season. The Englishman is out for potentially several weeks with a muscular issue.
Dier also missed the midweek trip to face CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Stanis Idumbo did not and played but was forced off with an injury in Bulgaria. Like the Englishman, he misses the trip to face FC Lorient this afternoon. Monaco are also without Paris Brunner for the match against Les Merlus. The Germany U21 international is suspended. Matthis Abline is expected to start in his place.
In place of Dier, it is Mohammed Salisu, returning from an ACL injury, who is expected to start alongside Sadibou Sané.
