Believe it Milwaukee, a 44-year drought has ended. The improbable dream is officially reality.
The Brewers are going to the World Series for the first time since 1982.
What? The World Series? Get up, get up, and get outta here!

Since then, the Brewers have had the best record in baseball in back to back seasons, beat their own franchise win total TWICE & made it to a World Series.
That doesn’t happen by accident.

Yes, it's happening. The Brewers hit seven home runs in the National League Championship Series and swept the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in four games.
American Family Field will be the host site for Games 1 and 2 of the Fall Classic Oct. 23 and 24. Overload the coolers and light the grills. It will be an epic weekend tailgate party that even Lambeau Field has never seen.
National baseball media doubted baseball's best team could be better in October. Despite 103 regular season wins, they weren't supposed to have enough power to close out a team like the Dodgers.

But when Garrett Mitchell broke a 4-4 tie in the sixth inning with his second home run of the series, the Brewers were on their way to their second World Series in franchise history, beating Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers at their own game, outscoring the Dodgers 21-11 in the series.
And while the Brewers should have never been considered underdogs in the NLCS, they will now be the favorites to raise the championship trophy.
Brewers fans were in an obvious celebratory mood, toasting the team on social media after they broke out the brooms at Dodgers Stadium, Oct. 15. Here's a sample:

Brewers are the perfect answer to the "how much do you need home runs in the playoffs?" debate.
— Max Mannis (@MaxMannis) October 16, 2026
You need 'em, for certain, but you also need guys on when you do. Pass the baton, battle, get on base and then make 'em pay. The "only sell out for homers" strategy is flawed, just as…
The Brewers sweeping the $339 million Dodgers to reach their first World Series in 44 years is exactly why I love baseball.

The Milwaukee Brewers are going to the World Series. It doesn’t feel real. I never thought we’d see the day. I am so grateful to be able to watch this.

Cheers, Wisconsin! 🍻
I love dynasties, and teams that spend to win, so I have no problem with the Dodgers.

But, damn, the Brewers are fun to watch, and they were the better team, and they deserve to go to the World Series. Great team baseball.

Winning a World Series is hard.

Back-to-back is improbable.
Back-to-back-to-back is near impossible.
Specifically when you’re playing against the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers.
Sobbed.

Sobbed for ten whole minutes in front of my bartenders and strangers.
Called my sister and cried some more.
After 2018 I didn’t think this was possible
After game two against the dodgers I knew it was written.
I will get to see my brewers in the World Series.

Six little words. “Milwaukee, you have a World Series.” It’s happening again. And it. Is. Glorious. #WinOurWay#WorldSeries
