It’s been two months since Bryce Alakai and Trinity Tatum took home the prize on Love Island USA season 8, and they’re still going strong beyond the villa. Bryce rang in Trinity’s 23rd birthday on October 15 with an incredibly sweet tribute, where he capital-G gushed about how much she means to him.
“Happy birthday to the most important person in my life,” Bryce wrote in the caption of his Instagram carousel, which featured the song “I Only Have Eyes for You” by The Flamingos.
He continued, “I’m so grateful to have you by my side and to be able to share this life with you. You bring so much happiness, love, and meaning into my world. I can’t wait to make more memories and continue growing together. I love you.”
The photo dump features 19 photos of the couple as they traveled back to the States from Fiji, appeared on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, and took the stage for Bryce’s DJ tour.
What’s more: Bryce’s mom, Keri, also showed some love for Trinity on her Instagram Stories. According to screenshots obtained by Stephanie Tleiji (AKA @stephwithdadeets on socials), Keri shared a pic of Trinity from the Love Island USA season finale with the caption, “Happy birthday Trincess!”
America’s favorite couple has been going strong since they first chose each other on season 8 of Love Island USA, and they couldn’t help but rave about their relationship in a post-show interview with Cosmopolitan.
When asked what their favorite thing about each other is, Bryce gushed, “How much she stands up for what she believes in. It’s like one of her best qualities. She will put herself on the line or on the chopping block if she feels like it’s right and needed, and she will do it to the maximum extent. And I think that’s a very admirable thing.”
As for Trinity’s favorite thing about Bryce?
“He’s very open with his feelings,” she said at the time. “He’s not afraid to be like, ‘I felt some type of way about this.’ He told me he loved me. He told me that he wanted to make me his girlfriend. I think that that emotional maturity and respect are everything, because men don’t have that now. That red pill stuff is crazy.”
If Bryce’s birthday shoutouts for Trinity prove anything, it’s that our vote truly matters. Brinity to infinity!
