INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts suffered a shocking 26-20 loss to the previously winless Tennessee Titans, blowing a 13-point halftime lead on Sunday. Coach Shane Steichen brushed off questions about his job security after the game.
"Obviously it's my job to get this team ready and that's what I'm focused on right now," he said when asked about his job security.
Steichen opened his postgame news conference by saying: "Extremely disappointing. We've got a lot to fix and we've got to fix it in a hurry."
When asked if he and team owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon had talked about his future, Steichen replied: "We haven't had those conversations. We just talk football."
