Motorists travelling through Castries on Sunday should expect traffic changes as the Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) carries out sewer connection works in the city.
The utility company says it will install a new sewer connection from the new Vendors Arcade on Jeremie Street to Laborie Street from 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 18.
As a result, southbound traffic entering the city from the John Compton Highway will be diverted onto Peynier Street.
Northbound motorists leaving Castries are being asked to use Brazil Street onto Chaussee Road.
WASCO is urging drivers to follow all traffic control measures in place during the works and to use the recommended alternate routes.
The company has apologised for the inconvenience and thanked motorists for their patience and understanding.
