Chümoukedima, October 17 (MExN): Students and teachers of Trinity High School, Kohima, visited the Peace Centre in Chümoukedima for an exposure visit to learn about peacebuilding, youth empowerment and social responsibility initiatives undertaken by Peace Channel. The Peace Centre comprises two wings — Peace Channel, an NGO and youth peace movement promoting peacebuilding and community engagement, and the North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), an academic institution focusing on social work education, research, and peace and conflict transformation studies.Kevin, proprietor of Trinity High School, expressed gratitude to the Peace Centre for its hospitality and appreciated Peace Channel's efforts in promoting peace education.
