Tampa Bay Rays slugger Junior Caminero can hit some dingers.
Caminero has more home runs than anyone else in the American League since the start of last season, and has a tendency to smack his home runs quite a long way when he connects.
His power was on full display on Friday night during batting practice ahead of Game 1 of the World Series against the Milwaukee Brewers, so much so that the Fox crew might want to start wearing helmets in the stands.
Caminero launched a batting practice ball deep over the fence in left-center field, straight into the MLB on Fox studio desk. Luckily for the Fox team, they weren’t in full show mode at the moment of the blast, but enough cameras were rolling to capture the wild scene as it played out. The ball came down right on the desk and broke a microphone into several pieces.
Caminero jokingly acknowledged the desk after realizing how far he’d hit his ball.

Not many people on the planet can do that, but most of those who can play Major League Baseball.
While Caminero’s display of power came in a practice setting ahead of Friday’s game, the Rays are hoping he can produce a few similar highlights through the next two weeks of World Series action, and hopefully lead the franchise to its first-ever championship.
